I understood I only had one choose, Xalatan, which is getting more expensive. Is there a cheaper alternative of the same drug.

You have a choice of the brand --- Xalatan --- or the generic --- latanaprost. The generic version is MUCH cheaper, and it is EXACTLY the same as the brand. Ask for the generic.
